Eta CrB is an eccentric binary system closely resembling Alpha Centauri (P = 15189.1 ± 2.9 d, e = 0.277 ± 0.001, i = 58.7 ± 0.16°) but composed of two Solar-like G type stars (spT G0V + G2V).
